Wild Skills Family Camp

August 6, 2015 - August 9, 2015

Registration Closed

This weekend program through Children of the Earth Foundation, is a great way to engage the whole family in the wonders of the great outdoors. We cover the basic skills of shelter, water, fire and food as well as skills to thrive in nature through awareness games, tracking and storytelling. Join us for this inspiring family adventure!

Ages and Prerequisites: This program is designed for families to attend together and is open for youth and teens age 4-17. Parents and guardians must participate in the program with their children. During the weekend, kids are with their parents most of the time and older teens may go on more challenging adventures. No experience is necessary.

Location: Broadfork Farm is in Trout Lake, WA, 20 miles north of Hood River. Broadfork Farm is a working farm and homestead.  Enjoy pitching your tent with a view of Mt Adams, harvest some of your dinner, and wander to the pastures edge to speak with a few animals as you drink your coffee.  The farm, and surrounding Mt Adams country provide the rich backdrop for our weekend together.
